Ingredients
Raw Shrimp (with or without tails, frozen or fresh, ~3/4 lb)
butter (~1 tbsp.)
salt
pepper
garlic powder
oregano
If shrimp is frozen, defrost in cold bowl of water.
De-tail shrimp (if desired, not necessary) by squeezing them where the shrimp meets the shell.
In a non-stick pan, turn heat on medium-high and butter the pan.
Heavily season the pan with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Once the seasoning seems to have soaked up most of the butter, add the shrimp in a thin layer into the pan. Cook for 2 minutes on one side. Before flipping, add a few pieces of butter into the pan scattered around (~1/2 tablespoon), then flip the shrimp over and cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve over rice and with a vegetable to complete the meal!
