Bacon
Provolone Cheese
Dates (pitted)
Syrup
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cut bacon in half.
Slice Dates open, but not all the way through - long ways.
Cut cheese into small cubes.
Insert the cheese cubes into the opened date. Then place date at the end of a piece of bacon, and slowly roll the date into the bacon.
Using a toothpick, push the toothpick all the way through from one side to the other of the bacon wrapped date. Then place on a baking pan. Repeat process until all stuffed dates are wrapped.
Put baking pan in the oven and cook for 10 minutes. Then using the toothpicks in the bacon wrapped dates, flip them onto the other side and cook for another 10 minutes. Then drizzle a bit of syrup over all of the bacon wrapped dates and cook for another 2-3 minutes. The bacon should be a bit crispy but not overcooked.
Remove, let cook a bit, serve and enjoy!
