Ingredients
Chicken
Jasmine rice
Mushrooms
Mixed veggies (frozen)
Broccoli
garlic
salt
pepper
butter
soy sauce
sesame oil*
sesame seeds
Make rice and let cook while doing the rest.
Pound chicken and slice into small pieces. Chop broccoli and mushrooms. On a griddle (or in a pan!) add oil, butter, garlic, salt and pepper. Sautée mushrooms, broccoli and mixed veggies all together. Remove from pan.
Again add salt, pepper, butter and oil to the pan and cook the chicken. Top with sesame seeds and remove from pan.
Again add oil, butter, salt and pepper to the pan. Crack an egg and scramble. Combine rice, chicken and vegetables all together and cook. Then add soy sauce and cook for 1 more minute.
*Note: you DO NOT NEED sesame oil. It is perfectly fine to use whatever regular olive oil you have in the house, I just cook a lot of Asian food and the sesame oil does add a bit of extra flavor!
