Tilde's Frozen Pineapple Basil Margarita


(5 minutes)

BASIL SIMPLE SYRUP:

-equal parts water and sugar (1/2 cup each for 2 drinks)

-add 5-8 fresh basil leaves

-warm until sugar dissolves on stove -don’t boil) and let cool and eventually remove leaves


FROZEN DRINK:

-blend 2 oz tequila

-1/2 oz grand mariner

- 1 oz simple syrup

- 2 oz lime juice

- 1 cup ice

- frozen pineapple (3/4 cup, to taste) and a few fresh basil leaves

-add a little water until right consistency


Salt rim, add lime for garnish!
