Rachel's Sheet Pan Sliders

Ingredients:

2-3 lbs of ground beef (depending on size of sheet pan you’re using)

1 yellow onion

American Cheese (White or Yellow – nothing fancy; singles are the best option for extra meltiness)

Slider Buns

Thousand Island Dressing

(or ketchup!)

Pickles


Recipe:

Pre-Heat Oven to 425 degrees

Dice onion into small pieces.

Dice pickles into small pieces.

In a pan, sauté onion in olive oil until soft


Use all the ground beef to create a thin layer on your sheet pan, making sure you go all the way to the ends (it will shrink when it cooks)

Cover the ground beef with sautéed onions

Place sheet pan in oven and cook for 15 min.


Take sheet pan out and carefully pour excess grease out. Then cook for an additional 15 minutes.


Take the beef out and cover with slices of American Cheese; put back in for 2 minutes to melt


Slice the beef into slider size to match the buns (using a pizza cutter is best, but I used my knife and it works fine!)


Add beef and cheese to sliders, top with Pickles/Relish and Thousand Island – or ketchup, or whatever condiments you like!
