(45 min)
Ingredients
Pizza dough
spinach (fresh or frozen)
feta cheese
provolone cheese (sliced)
salt
pepper
garlic
egg
sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook the spinach (I like using the fresh spinach, but if you are in a pinch for time, defrosting the frozen spinach is fine too.) Chop and add salt, pepper, and garlic and put to the side.
Stretch out pizza dough over a baking pan. Down the middle of the baking pan, line with sliced provolone cheese. Add cooked spinach down the middle on top. Crumble and add feta cheese. Top with a bit more of spinach. Season again with salt, pepper, and garlic if desired.
Fold the ends of the dough in on either side. Fold one long side over to cover the ends and the inside ingredients. Then fold the other side over that and tuck it in all over, slightly shaping between your hands to form the bread shape.
Scramble an egg. Lather the bread with the egg all over (you will NOT use all the egg, just enough to cover it). Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Lastly, add oil between the bread and the pan to avoid sticking. Put in oven and let bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Once done baking, remove from the oven and let it sit for at least 5 minutes before slicing!
